Data Deletion
1. How to delete your data from Publineo
You have two options — choose the one that is more convenient for you.
2. Method 1 — from within the application (recommended)
The fastest option if you still have access to your account:
- Log in atapp.publineo.com
- Open Settings → Account
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section
- Click Delete account and confirm with your password
After confirmation, the account is deactivated immediately and the data is deleted within 30 days.
3. Method 2 — sending an email
If you have lost access to your account or prefer a manual process:
- Write tosupport@publineo.com
- Use the subject line: Delete my data
- In the message, provide the email address used to create the account (for identification)
We respond within 5 business days with confirmation that the request has been received. We delete the data within 30 days after identity confirmation.
4. What we delete
- User account (email, password — in the form of a cryptographic hash)
- All brand and organization profiles
- All AI-generated posts, images, and drafts
- Access tokens for external channels (Facebook, Instagram, WordPress, LinkedIn)
- Usage statistics, AI costs
- All personal settings
5. What remains (legal requirement)
We must retain some data for longer despite a deletion request — this follows directly from Polish law:
- Invoices and billing data — 5 years from the end of the tax year (Tax Ordinance, Article 70 + VAT Act). Automatically deleted after that period.
- Security logs — up to 90 days (audit, fraud detection). Automatically deleted after that period.
- Administrative action audit — up to 12 months (GDPR Article 32, obligation to demonstrate compliance).
This data is stored under restricted processing — we use it only for legal purposes (tax inspections, potential disputes). We do not share it with anyone.
6. Facebook and Instagram — disconnecting the integration
If you connected a Facebook or Instagram account to Publineo, you can revoke access separately:
In Publineo settings
- Openapp.publineo.com
- Settings → Publishing channels
- Next to the Facebook/Instagram account, click Disconnect
Directly in Facebook
- Go tofacebook.com → Settings → Business Integrations
- Find Publineo on the list
- Click Remove
Disconnecting the integration in Facebook immediately invalidates our access tokens — we can no longer publish on your behalf, even if your Publineo account still exists.
7. Response time
- Self-service (in the app): immediate deactivation, complete deletion within 30 days
- Email request: receipt confirmed within 5 business days, deletion within 30 days after identity confirmation
- Urgent requests (incident): enter "URGENT" in the email subject — we try to respond within 24 hours
8. Your GDPR rights
Regardless of the deletion request, you have the right to:
- receive a copy of your data before deletion (machine-readable copy, JSON/CSV),
- request restriction of processing instead of full deletion,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl) if you believe that we are not fulfilling our obligations.
9. After deletion — what happens next
- We cannot recover your data — deletion is irreversible
- You can create a new account with the same email address at any time
- The new account has no connection to the deleted one (a fresh start)
